Reverse in manual car?

Fairly new to my manual Audi. I've been driving it for about a month or two now and I've gotten to know my car pretty well. I drive it like a granny and I'm cautious to not ride the clutch, and I don't do hard launches very much at all. All in all I take good care of the clutch. My only problem lies with Reverse. If I let out the clutch all the way my car goes WAY to fast (even with like no gas). I've been getting the car going in reverse by letting it halfway out, then I depress the clutch all the way back in to just coast, then I'll shift into 1st and get going. Is this the correct method? My dog is suddenly acting lethargic and not eating?

It started yesterday. She's drinking water and doesn't have blood in the stool and no diarrhea. Everything is normal as far as feces. Sometimes she eats if I feed it to her, but this morning she didn't. She is a small black dog with long fur. I thought it might be depression, but nothings changed. I also considered heatstroke, but there aren't enough symptoms that match. Any ideas? She's usually a hyper-active-spaz, but now she doesn't run or jump. She just walks around like a little granny(and she's only 2 years). We also took her to the vet but they don't know what's wrong. They said to take her home and see if it clears up within the next couple days or they can do a whole bunch of tests to locate the problem further. But that's going to cost us over $1000.00 and we don't have that kind of cash. So we're making that option plan B.

i feel like my family is going to push me over the edge. where do i start. i have depression, i think i have anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder, i have depersonalization, i'm stressing about a lot of things right now. around this time last year began the worst year of my life. my parents started smoking again, my beloved dog got rage syndrome and occasionally attacked us but it didn't get serious until he bit my brother's face and we had to put him down. we tried to help him as best as we could and got him dog psychiatrists but nothing worked. i loved him so much, he was my best friend and one of my only friends. before i got him i was depressed mainly i think from heredity and because i'm home schooled and only have one best friend who i never see because she goes to private school and has a lot of school work and never has time and we don't live that close to each other. after i got my dog, i wasn't really depressed anymore, but after we put him down i guess i was just in shock and everyone was crying so i felt like i needed to be strong and i didn't cry. well then my sister went through a rough patch where she went out with this guy and she fell in love with him in the first two weeks (they only went out for a month) and when he broke it off she was devastated. it wasn't easy for me to watch and i have very sensitive emotions so even just being around someone who has a negative energy about them can ruin my day and make me depressed. she also got accused of cheating in one of her classes in college and the teacher didn't have any proof and she got it put on her record. she got fired from her job for something she didn't even know was wrong. i began to get depressed again and no one knew but me. eventually i started having emotional breakdowns and even cut once and had thoughts of suicide even though i didn't have any plans to end it. i told my best friend and she started helping me through it as much as she could, but she couldn't help much because she was so busy and we never see each other. eventually i got up the courage to tell my mom and after 2 months of begging my parents to send me to public school they said they would. that helped and since then i haven't been as depressed but i still have a lot i'm going through. i went in for my annual physical and the doctor recommended that i see a counselor and gave me a list of them in the area, but my parents refuse to let me see one. my relationship with my sister (she's 21, i'm 16) is terrible, ever since she started hanging out with this girl she treats me like i'm unimportant and is really mean. once she started asking me about my problems and i told her and opened up to her and she laughed in my face an treated me like i'm pathetic and small. she also told me multiple times that when i go to school this fall i will fail all my classes and everyone will hate me and i will come home crying every day begging to be home schooled again. i know what i'm getting myself into when it comes to school, trust me. and she just treats me coldly when she's around me, and keeps trying to get me in trouble and just bitches about her oh so terrible life all the time, but her life has gotten better since last year i can tell you that. she shouldn't be complaining, most of her problems are fake drama things that she makes happen herself, just so her and her friend have something to entertain them. whenever my sister is around my mom, my mom becomes sort of like her and treats me different then when it's just me and my mom. she treats me coldly. the only one who treats me right all the time is my brother who is 19. we've been so close ever since i was born. my parents constantly tell me to get a job and treat me like i'm mooching off of them, when my 21 year old sister is living at home rent free, driving their car, eating their food,etc. and doing whatever the f*ck she wants, walking around like she owns the place and treating me like crap. and now my parents told me that if i take the placement tests for my high school and i'm behind then they are keeping me home schooled, but i haven't learned crap since i was 10 because my mom used to teach me and she did a good job, but then she add to go back to work when i was 10 and since then i've had to teach myself, which i know i lack the discipline to do. i can't stay home schooled any longer, it is responsible for most of the problems i have. i'm afraid if i stay home schooled i will end up getting so depressed i kill myself. i am just so stressed right now and i don't know what to do. i know i need to study hard so i do alright on the placement tests, but that's all i know. i know i have to go to school because that is the only way to get away from my problems. to get out of my parents control. please help i just don't know what to do and therapy isn't an option. please help me.

If someone has a bad memory, do you tell them?

My Dad and Granny have horrible memories. They both tell the same stories every time you talk to them. They get stories so twisted, and just seem generally confused no matter how many times you try to tell them how something actually occurred. For instance, I told my dad that my cousin "Heather" told me something which gave away a surprise party for me and the next time I talk to him, he says my friend "Tiffany" is the one that told me, and is insistant upon it, and has even told my Granny and others that "Tiffany" blew the surprise for me. He goes on talking about how bad my Granny's memory is and says "Tell me when mine is that bad" BUT IT ALREADY IS! It's so frustrating talking to them because they go on for hours with the same exact stories every time we talk. I think it's rude to tell him that his memory IS that bad, if not worse than Granny's. I taught English in China for two year and many of my students tried what they called the apple diet. The girls over there are obsessed with being anorexic, seriously skinny is an understatement. Then we had Sports Day at school and some of the girls (19-25 year olds) were jumping jump rope and girls of all different ages and sizes just started passing out one after another. Between 20-30 girls passed out that day and 7 of them had to go to the hospital and got fed with an IV. This just goes to show you that this kind of diet is dangerous for anyone. Why don't you focus on toning rather than losing weight. Try Zumba and Pilates, they're really good and fun and you get result really fast. I used to fluctuate between 50 and 55 and I so wanted to be under 50 but then I realized I look damn hot and there's nothing wrong with me and there's nothing wrong with you either. At 15 you could even still have some baby weight, I did. Once that baby weight all shifts towards you're boobs, you're gonna be a hot little thing. So don't worry to much about the scale. Keep working out and focus on being healthy. Please don't do the apple diet, you'll only lose weight temporarily but you'll gain it back much faster because your body will want to hang onto whatever fat it consumes because it won't trust you and will think you're gonna starve it again.

Nightmares in children?

I have seven children and two out of them all experience bad night terrors. Im thinking it may be heredity,because my husband remembers have them as well. My 10 year old son is 7stone and quite tall. His diet is not great at all, he wont eat meat and very very little veg. I cant force feed him only try and get him to eat nutritious foods. Hi i'm dominican, and i'm mixed With alot of things ( Haitian, french, german, spanish, and taino) My mom is white with straigth hair and hazel eyes and she's dominican, While my dad is haitian has a big nose and is dark brown. From my dad side, his dad was german and his mom was ligth brown haiten while his grandmother was african/taina with good long hair. Speed problems with my horse?

So I own a 13 year old Appendix Quarter Horse gelding. At the end of April he was ruuning 16.3's in barrel racing at an arena. A huge wave of EHV-1 hit our area, so I was out of competing for about a month. And while I was out of competing, I did practice with him on barrels, poles, etc. Now there's a summer series of speed at the same arena we were running 16.2 and 16.3's at. Now he's running 17.0's and 17.5's there. The first Summer Series, he ran a 25.4 in poles, a 17.5 in barrels and a 10.4 in straitaways. Before he was running 23.1's in poles, 16.2's in barrels, and 9.8's in straits. I went and ran him again today, we got a 17.0 in barrels and 10.4 again in straits. What's wrong? It's like all of my horse's speed has dissapeared! Pleas help! Thanks so much!

Going camping while on my period :/?

I'm going camping this weekend, Friday night to Saturday morning. We are camping in a field behind my friend's grannies house, but we won't be using her toilet or anything, just roughing it and peeing in the nearest bush, etc. I'd be okay with this, except I know I'll be on my period. I use tampons every time, but you can only leave them in for 8 hours at a time, and I can hardly change it in a field lol what should I do, because I really want to go! and there will be guys there, which makes the whole situation even more awkward! :(
