Granny wants to force religion down my daughter's throat. Help! What do I do?

My wife's mother heard that my daughter wants to become a Methodist. She said, "Methodist! Those people let just anyone come into their church to worship God! You need to take her and force her to mingle with Catholic Teens at the Catholic Church. Don't ask her what she wants.... MAKE HER DO IT!" I would feel sad if she became a Methodist too, but I don't want to do what my mother-in-law is suggesting either. I think she might run away from home. I can't be rude to granny, she's an old bat. What do YOU think I SHOULD do?
