Should my 93 year old granny have eye surgery?

what does granny suffers from in the first place? if the condition doesn't pose a threat to granny's health and/or well being, it's best to leave it as it is. however, if it a some sort of emergency procedure then let granny go under the knife. just make sure every minute detail of the procedure has been explained carefully to granny and the carer and that there will be a good prognosis (outcome).
