Can someone tell me what "du wolltest den kerl as drehen lassen und die f�hre buchen" means in english, pleas?

I have been learning German through Rosetta Stone and a personal tutor, but it's at times like these that I have to question if I'll ever be able to fully grasp this language :/ please help
