How to install XP running Windows 7 Dual BOOT?

I Have windows 7 installed But some programs don't work on it. I have a windows xp setup cd None Boot able cd. How can I install XP. so I have dual O.P computer, and when I insert win xp setup cd. Windows 7 message box says pleas insert a newer version of windows. or something like that..
